Khanh Phan has over 10 years of experience in large-scale power projects in Vietnam. Her expertise includes preparing BOT project documents, negotiating project contracts, obtaining permits and licenses, coordinating project stakeholders, assisting the administration management. In addition to energy, she has worked on projects across various sectors - RFID technology, capacity building, education, and hospitality management. Prior to Gen X Energy, Khanh served as Director of Corporate Affairs of Smarthin Technologies Inc. in the US, where she focused on the incorporation of the startup company, application of patents, assistance with fund mobilization, and assistance to the Board of Directors. Before that, she served in various positions for 6 years at The AES Corporation in Vietnam for development of the Mong Duong II 1,240MW BOT project where she was among the first employees until the successful closure of the financing, 2 years at VAMESP II - an M&E capacity building project funded by AusAID to 6 ministries and 7 provinces of Vietnam, 3 years at Pacific Power International - an Australian power company providing consulting service to EVN on managing the project implementation of Pha Lai 2, a 600MW coal-fired power project.
